In achieving our business objectives, Palmetto will commit to continual improvement in environmental performance and support a culture of environmental awareness.
Our commitments include, but are not limited to:

• Continuous Enhancement & Assessment
  Carrying out environmental management reviews and auditing programmes designed to measure our progress – in relation to our policy statements, objectives or targets that we may have set. Our environmental management system will enable us to manage the environmental aspects of our work on a continual basis thereby complimenting our commitment to continual improvement.
• Energy Conservation
  Improving energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption wherever possible by employing best practice in energy management and investing in appropriate energy saving technologies for Palmetto and our clients.
• Waste & Recycling
  Minimising our waste disposal through an economic use, re-use and recycling of materials and products.
• Promote the ideals of the B Corporation
  Aligning ourselves with our B Corporation commitment; Palmetto will abide by the covenants established by the B Corporation.
• Code of conduct
  Integrating our environmental policy ideals into an agreement with those individuals working for Palmetto.
• Employee Awareness
  Providing appropriate training, instruction, and supervision to all our employees so that they are able to perform their duties in a way that supports our environmental policy, code of conduct and objectives.
• Prevention of Pollution
  Preventing the creation, emission or discharge of any type of pollutant or environmentally harmful chemicals.
• Legal Compliance
  Meeting, and where appropriate, exceeding all relevant legal and other requirements to which we may subscribe, such as those relating to environmental aspects.
• Communication
  Communicating this policy to everyone working for or on behalf of Palmetto.
• Green Bonus
  Providing financial incentives for compliance with our environmental policy for everyone working for or on behalf of Palmetto.
